Counseling Intern
*Designed for students interested in counseling in a psychology
or social work setting
*Intern begins by observing and reflecting on counseling
sessions
*Intern will network with others and be exposed to a variety of
counseling methods
*Intern would potentially conduct counseling sessions (with the
permission of the client) and under the direction of the site
supervisor
*Open to juniors and seniors
Social Work Intern
*Designed for students interested in social work/social services
*Work with site supervisor in providing advocacy services to families with children working through the education system
*Attend court hearings related to custody issues
*Open to juniors or seniors.
Additional Information
These internships are non-paid, but academic credit will be earned.
Heat To Heart Support Services is a Christian based organization, the intern will be required to sign an agreement with the agency's Statement of Faith and Purpose
